Anne has been working at RPNS since 1998, first as a Program Assistant and then as a Toddler Teacher Assistant. She is currently a Psychology Major at Carleton University and last year took courses in Developmental Psychology and Exceptional Children. Anne is also the author of two children’s books: The Travels of Gunter Krempig, 1981, and Wickiup Walkingstick, published by Red Deer Press in 1991.
For as long as she can remember, Kerilyn has always wanted to work with children. Since the age of 11, she has been known to friends and family as the "neighbourhood babysitter". Naturally, she decided to enroll in the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College, immediately after graduating from high school.
Kerilyn graduated from Algonquin College in 2003. Throughout her studies, she successfully completed three teaching placements, one of which was right here at RPNS! Kerilyn has always strived to meet the needs of each and every child in her care. She enjoys working closely with the children and their families, and looks forward to seeing how the children will grow and develop throughout the year. She will continue to ensure that each child's developmental goals and needs are met.
In her spare time, Kerilyn enjoys camping, reading, reality TV, and spending time with her boyfriend of 6 years. She is also an obsessive fan of the band Great Big Sea!
The 2006-2007 school year is Kerilyn's fourth year at RPNS. This is also her first year as Assistant Director. She looks forward to all the new challenges ahead!

Janet Clayton was born in Ottawa and received her ECE diploma from Algonquin College. She received her certification from the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario (AECEO) in 2003. Janet has worked in day cares here (Ottawa), Halifax and Calgary. She has run her own program and worked in a nursery school setting while living in the Turks and Caicos Islands. She also provided a program for special needs children until an organization in Providenciales (T and C) was ready to assume the responsibility. This is Janet’s 6th year at RPNS. We are happy to say that it is Janet’s 1st year working as a Toddler teacher. Janet has been wishing to work with the Toddlers for some time; this year is a dream come true!
